Our Company is committed to developing and guiding its telecommunications business activities on the principles of sustainability and protecting the environment. We have implemented an Environmental Management System based upon the ISO14001:2004 International Standard to achieve this objective. We are committed to continually improving and following up our environmental performance.
WIND Management and employees have committed to the following:
- Recognising all the environmental aspects in our operations. Systematically monitoring significant environmental impacts. Establishing management programs that control or minimize such impacts together with programs that minimise the use of resources and recycle waste.
- Preventing pollution from our activities.
- Re-examining and periodically reviewing our objectives and goals on all related activities and the Environmental Management System.
- Complying with all the relative legislative requirements. Operating as recipients of requests by society, shareholders, customers, employees and associates. Cultivating a relation of trust with society by providing all required information to the public bodies / agencies concerned.
- Training and informing our employees and associates about protecting the environment. Their participation is a vital prerequisite for success. We provide the necessary resources and support the Environmental Management System during all its implementation stages to accomplish our objectives.
- We recognize and encourage change as the only way for improvement.
