Athens, 2 April 2012. Yesterday, on Sunday, 1 April 2012 more than 5000 runners, both adults and children, took part in the 7th International Marathon “Alexander the Great”. Apart from the Marathon that started in Pella, 3 more races took place in the city, the 10 & 5 km races and the special 1500m. race for children.

Succesful Renewal of Spectrum use rights for WIND Hellas

WIND Hellas would like to announce that following the completion of the tender process for granting rights to use radio frequencies in the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands, it has successfully renewed all of the usage rights that it has held since 1992 to provide mobile telephones services via GSM.

Athens, 10th November 2011. For the first time in the history of the Athens Classical Marathon race runners will be able to automatically advise their finishing time via an SMS message sent by the WIND network.
